# Step-by-Step Directions:
01 - Spread a thin, even layer of butter on one side of each bread slice.
02 - Place two slices of bread, buttered side down, on a clean surface. Lay two cheese slices on each unbuttered side. Top with the remaining bread slices, buttered side up, to form two sandwiches.
03 - Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat.
04 - Place sandwiches in the skillet. Cook for 3–4 minutes per side, pressing gently with a spatula, until bread is golden brown and cheese is melted.
